September 3 to 30, 2026 — UN FRAGMENT D’ART — 4th edition, Collegiate Church of Ribérac
In the heart of Périgord Vert, a 12th-century collegiate church. Inside, fourteen contemporary artists, a month-long exhibition, and this question held by the place itself: what does art say when it meets stones that are a thousand years old?
I am delighted to announce that I am one of the fourteen artists selected for the 4th edition of the UN FRAGMENT D’ART salon, which will take place from September 3 to 30, 2026 in two emblematic venues of Ribérac (Dordogne, southwest France): the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame and the Cultural Centre of Ribérac.
A contemporary art salon in a heritage setting
Founded in 2023 and organised by the association Un Fragment d’Art – Nouvelle-Aquitaine, this salon embodies a conviction: contemporary art can reach out to every audience without ever giving up on artistic rigour. The selection is deliberately tight, multidisciplinary, and the scenography is designed as a dialogue between the works and the place that welcomes them.
Under the artistic direction of Pierre Garnier, director of Galerie Pandem’Art, this 2026 edition unfolds for the first time across two complementary sites: the collegiate church, with the power of its Romanesque architecture, and the more contemporary Cultural Centre — two atmospheres, one same invitation to slow down.
A tribute to Serge Labégorre
The 2026 edition pays special tribute to Serge Labégorre, a major figure of French expressionism who passed away last spring. First guest of honour at the salon in 2023, he remains deeply linked to the birth of Un Fragment d’Art. This tribute celebrates the moving power of his painting, the freedom of his gesture, the intensity of his figures.
Kim Chi Nguyen, guest of honour
The salon welcomes Kim Chi Nguyen as guest of honour, laureate of the Un Fragment d’Art Prize at the Figuration Critique Paris 2025 salon. Her deeply inhabited painting brings forth, from matter, shadow and shards of light, figures of rare intensity, exploring the fragility and courage of the human being.

Three highlights not to miss
The 2026 edition inaugurates its first artistic events:
- Thursday, September 3 at 6pm — Opening of the 4th edition, in the presence of the artists.
- Friday, September 18 — Day of the book and the image: presentations and signings by artist-authors, followed in the evening at the collegiate church by a projection of short films dedicated to contemporary art.
- Wednesday, September 23 — Lecture by Christian Noorbergen, art critic, dedicated to the work of Serge Labégorre.
What I am showing
At the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame, I am showing a selection of recent works, in the continuity of my practice: bringing into dialogue the human figure, the landscape and the living. Paintings and pieces chosen to resonate with the matter of the stone and the particular light of the place.

Ribérac, a destination in its own right
In the heart of Périgord Vert, 90 minutes from Bordeaux, Brive or Cognac, between Périgueux and Angoulême, Ribérac has established itself since 2023 as a regional cultural pole where, for a month, the French countryside takes on the appearance of an open-air gallery.
Coming to Ribérac in September means coming to meet the artworks, but also extending your visit to the town, its medieval streets, its markets, and the gentleness of the Dronne river that flows through Périgord Vert.
