What if we lived on separate and different planets?

I am dramatising the idea that cultures could perhaps retain their values if they lived in isolation.
But sooner or later these cultures will be doomed to impoverishment and a loss of meaning, like the character in The Little Prince who is losing his way, constantly turning his lamppost on and off.
