16 October to 6 December 2026 — FORÊTS — Group exhibition, Galerie À l’Écu de France, Viroflay
The forest as a territory of artistic exploration: a living, fragile and mysterious entity. Rooted in the earth and reaching towards the sky, the tree stands as a universal symbol embodying stability, growth and transformation.
I am delighted to announce my participation in the group exhibition FORÊTS, which brings together seven artists from 16 October to 6 December 2026 at the Galerie À l’Écu de France, the municipal gallery of the town of Viroflay (Yvelines).
A group exhibition around the tree and the living world
The artists explore the lines, the roots, the bark of the tree, revealing a multitude of stories: the textures of wood, shades of green, the play of shadow and light. The forest is no longer merely represented: it is felt, reinvented, sometimes even fragmented the better to reveal its complexity. Veils, threads and openwork materials let the light through as if through foliage, creating spaces where the eye moves freely. Some works bring out the intimate dimension of the forest; others question its fragility in the face of contemporary upheavals.

What I am showing
A painter and sculptor, for more than twenty years I have been developing a sensitive and committed body of work around the links between human beings and their environment. My oil paintings offer aerial views of crowds and of trees, like a living map made of roots, ramifications and networks — a way of questioning the connections, visible or invisible, that bind us to one another and to the natural world.
This way of looking continues in a body of ceramic sculpture, delicate and organic: forms close to plants or to the body, evoking the flows and circulations of living things.

Viroflay, at the gates of Versailles
A few minutes from Versailles and easily reached from Paris (Viroflay Rive Gauche / Rive Droite stations), Viroflay hosts this exhibition in its municipal gallery À l’Écu de France, a venue dedicated to contemporary and thematic art run by the town’s cultural department.
