July 12 to 14 – Hélène Bertaux sculpture prize – Saint-Michel-de-Savaignes

A pioneer, earth, fire… and a sculpture prize
How about a leap back in time?
At the end of the 19th century, a sculptor by the name of Hélène Bertaux shook up convention by wresting from women the right to enter the Beaux-Arts.
A century later, her name continues to open doors – and I’m delighted to announce that this year I’m taking part in the Prix Hélène Bertaux, a competition dedicated to today’s female sculptors.
Held at Saint-Michel-de-Chavaignes in the Sarthe region of France, the prize honors women’s creations and the materials we use to make them: stone, metal, porcelain, wood… A wonderful energy, at the crossroads of history, art and the land.
Theme 2025: Elegance

My work will be exhibited there from July 12 to 14, 2025, alongside numerous artists from all over France, as part of the Mains d’art event. A weekend of art, encounters and links between past and present.
Thank you to the organizers for keeping this living memory alive – and maybe we’ll see you soon on site to see the works for real!
