COMPARAISONS exhibition – 18>22 February 2025 – Grand Palais – PARIS

📅 I am delighted to be taking part in ART CAPITAL 2025 and to invite you to discover my work at the Salon Comparaison, to be held at the Grand Palais from 18 to 22 February 2025! ✨

This edition is all the more special as it is the first time the show has been held in this iconic venue following its renovation. An exceptional event bringing together 35 groups representing as many different artistic sensibilities and currents.

Comparaisons is a genuine meeting of styles, approaches and techniques. It’s a place where contemporary visions of art come face to face, and where the public can appreciate the diversity and richness of today’s art.

For this year’s show, I’m delighted to be part of the ‘Singulière sculpture’ group, which will be showcasing original sculptural works that are often bold and innovative. I’m honoured to be contributing to this collection, and to be able to present my porcelain sculpture entitled ‘À la queue leu leu’ (H 42 cm, W 30 cm, D 30 cm).

This work depicts a land on which small men move, surrounded by invasive tree roots, forming a metaphor for our relationship with nature and our environment. The figures seem to move in single file, as if trapped in a repetitive cycle, symbolising our dependencies, habits and inner struggles. The fragility and whiteness of the porcelain add an ethereal yet poignant dimension to the work.

It is a great joy to be able to share this work with you in such a prestigious and stimulating setting. It will be an opportunity for me to discuss my artistic approach and give you a close-up view of this sculpture, which is so dear to me.
