At the centre of the sculpture, an imposing white porcelain root emerges from the base, spiralling gracefully upwards.
The meticulous detailing of the root’s textures and nodes adds an organic dimension to the whole, almost giving the impression that it is alive. The roots seem to sink deep into the base, symbolising the connection with the earth, the source of life and growth.
